What: Klondike Derby 2026
When: January 24th, 8am – 9pm. The trip is day only. But if there are enough people interested and will commit to camp on the weekend, this is an option. We would need at least 5 scouts and 2 adults to commit to make that happen. (There will be a space in the signupgenius to let us know if you would commit, otherwise it will just be a day trip.)
Where: Tunnel Mill
How: It costs $20 for a scout and $10 for an adult or $5 if the adult staffs. (This covers for the patch, a special gift, and the complimentary dinner.) (Cost for lunches by patrols is TBD.)
Why: The Klondike Derby is an event where we make a sled and put supplies in it. The scouts act as the dogs to pull the sled from station to station. At those stations they do scouting activities and challenges.
