Located in Louisville, KY, Troop 380 is chartered by St. Patrick Catholic Church. We serve the youth of the Middletown and surrounding areas. We are an active, youth-led, troop in the Seneca District and Lincoln Heritage Council.
Are you interested in learning about Scouts BSA? We would love for you and your family to join us at one of our Troop Meetings! You can contact us through BeAScout.org!
We meet on Sunday evenings, 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM in the school cafeteria. To access the cafeteria, after entering campus, follow the signs to the right of the main building. Once you pass the playground (on your right), and the gym (on your left), veer to the left and begin to climb the hill. Park on the side of the drive, near the top of the hill, and enter the cafeteria door.
We plan an outing each month, giving each patrol the opportunity to work together and learn how to organize the event. Each month it is something different! Whitewater rafting, skiing, cycling, camping in a cave, water sports on the lake, rock climbing and rappelling, hiking, just to name a few! We attend a week long summer camp every summer and also organize crews to visit the Scout BSA High Adventure bases!
Whether it be helping a fellow scout with their Eagle Scout project, or a project organized by the troop, there are plenty of opportunities to grow through service to others. Some of our recent projects include: building a bridge to help make a learning garden more accessible to those in need, rebuilding picnic tables in an outdoor classroom, nearby park beautification, creating care packages for those in need during the holidays, and much more!
