Service Project: Sam C’s Eagle Project

For my Eagle Project I am building two trail benches on the Siltstone Trail in Jefferson Memorial Forest. There will be two workdays, the first to set the posts for both benches and the second to construct the actual benches on trail.

Both days we will meet at the overflow parking lot for the JMF visitors center then carpool over to the trail parking on Bearcamp road. Most of the work will be moving supplies up to the locations, each being about a half mile away from the parking lot. So be prepared to do some heavy lifting.
