What: Wilderness Survival Trip
Where: Camp Crooked Creek at the Camporee Area where they do ATV
When: New dates are September 26th-28th. Going to meet at Saint Pats on Friday September 26th at 5:30pm and leave at 6:00pm. We will return to Saint Pats at 10:00am on Sunday September 28th.
Why:
- No tents, only tent shelters and hammocks are allowed for sleeping. (If there is going to be really bad weather then we will make a decision on Thursday night before if we will allow tents to be used.)
- Camping by patrol, In sites separate from each other.
- Can only bring what you can carry with your pack and with your hands. How food will work is TBD.
- Cooking by fire only.

- We will use a map and UTM coordinates to find previously hidden water Jerry cans, fire making supplies, bag of charcoal, and other supplies.
- “Convoy Raid” There is a scheduled supply truck with a trailer coming down the road Saturday morning. Patrols must create a lashing project with logs and rope to create a blockade to stop the convoy. Scouts can take ONE thing from the convoy trailer before the driver and his assistant can remove the blockade out of the way. Points for creativity of the blockade. (No damage is to be done to the truck, trailer, or driver.)
- Capture the Flag for points.
- Eating Chocolate Covered Crickets for points. (Not mandatory, it is optional.)
- Other activities TBD.
- Adult Cush Patrol will camp normally at a base camp nearby.
How (How much): Estimate is $10 for campsite fee, UTM grid reader for each scout, charcoal and other supplies in the woods. Food cost not included yet.
